Dream: My dream is to contribute to educational reform in Egypt
I have earned an MA in International & Comparative Education and a BSc in Computer Science both from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. I am currently a PhD student in Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
I have taught IT to high school, middle school and elementary school students. I have delivered sessions to teachers from private and public schools from around Egypt in using technology. I have also helped professors in one-on-one sessions in utilizing digital media in their own classrooms. I was also a School Guidance Counsellor & Academic Supervisor at an International private school in Egypt. I have also worked as an Instructor at the Professional Educator Diploma at the American University in Cairo.
I have delivered presentations at the Comparative International Educational Society annual Conference (CIES, Toronto, March 2014) and the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES, Buenos Aires, June 2013).
I am interested in Action Research, Teacher Professionalism, Critical Policy Analysis, Action Research and International & Comparative amongst other topics.
